Emotional Physical and Financial Abundance Can Be Yours

Physicians often say that 85% of people who come to them for treatment have an emotional cause at the base of their problems.

That's not news, is it?

My Grandmother said, "David, worrying will just make it worse."

And, "Being angry at him only hurts you."

"If you don't forgive her it will eat you alive."

Grandma talked about "demons inside," and "poison thoughts." She warned against dishonesty, "It will always come back to haunt you." She promised, "You mustn't feel that way, it'll make you sick."

Grandmother knew a lot more about emotional health and emotional dis-ease than we gave her credit for.

Grandma also gave us some very wrong answers to life's questions.

Granny said, "You just can't trust people with money."
"Rich people are bad," (for any number of her reasons.)
"Give a man an inch and he'll take a mile."

And as a result, we grew into the adult world with wrong beliefs, or our parent's rules to control our lives.

We made decisions about honesty and dishonesty based on their bias's. If they lived through a depression, we learned that money is scarce, --must not spend money.

Out of the old-time religion that Ma and Pa believed, we learned some pretty awful lessons about our bodies. Sex is dirty. Money is scarce. Feelings should be hidden.

But the story of your life, and mine, is not over.
STILL, WE CAN CHANGE OUR WAYS.
WE CAN YET BE HAPPY, JOYOUS AND FREE.

It's not difficult
It only takes willingness.
Willingness to give up some of our old, limited beliefs. Willingness to try some new things. Read some new books. Get out of our "comfort zone."
